Privacy policy

RestNine Sudoku is developed by Georgi Nedyalkov. The game has no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs and does not require a separate RestNine account.

Information on your device

The app stores your puzzles, entered numbers, notes, undo history, solving times, hint counts, results, lesson progress, and preferences on your device. It also creates a random installation identifier to distinguish changes when merging progress. This is not an advertising identifier.

This information is used to run the game, preserve progress, calculate your statistics, and restore saved games. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

iCloud

In versions where iCloud is available, the app can automatically synchronize games, results, lessons, settings, and the metadata needed to merge changes through Apple's CloudKit service when you are signed in to iCloud. This data is stored in your private iCloud database. The app uses an app-specific iCloud account identifier to detect account changes; it does not request your Apple Account password or email address.

The developer does not operate a separate server receiving your game saves. Private game records are not made public or shared with other players. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy. Sync depends on account availability, your device settings, network access, and iCloud storage. Versions that report iCloud as unavailable keep progress locally instead.

File backups

If you export a backup, you choose where to save it through the system file picker. Backups include your game progress and settings. Anyone you give the file to may read that information. Exported files are not automatically sent to the developer. Copies stored with another provider are also subject to that provider's policies.

Support messages

If you email support, Georgi Nedyalkov receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. These are used to answer your request and investigate reported problems, not for marketing. Email is handled through Proton Mail. Correspondence is retained only as needed for support, security, and applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion using the contact below.

Payments and diagnostics

Apple processes App Store purchases. The app does not collect your payment card details. Apple may provide the developer with sales reports or diagnostics under Apple's services and your sharing settings. RestNine does not add its own analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

This website

These support pages do not add analytics, advertising, contact forms, or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process connection information, such as IP addresses and technical request logs, to deliver and protect the site. Opening an email link uses your chosen email application.

Keeping and deleting information

Local progress remains until you delete the app's data. Deleting the app does not necessarily delete exported backups, device backups, or iCloud data. Manage those copies separately using Files, your backup provider, and Apple's iCloud storage controls. If iCloud sync remains enabled, reinstalling the app may restore cloud progress.

There is no separate RestNine account to close. You can export your game data in Settings → Backup & iCloud. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict the use of personal information, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact the developer for requests concerning information received through support.
