Include your device model, iOS version, app version, and the steps that led to the issue. A screenshot can help. Never send passwords or Apple Account credentials. Only send a game backup if you want its contents reviewed.

Your progress and backups

RestNine saves moves on your device automatically. In Settings → Backup & iCloud, use Export backup to keep a separate copy in Files. Import backup merges saved games and restores the settings from that file. Keep the original file until you have checked the restored progress.

If the game reports a saving error, keep the app installed, free some device storage, and use Retry saving. Contact support before deleting the app or its data.

Playing offline

Classic puzzles, daily puzzles, lessons, and local progress work without an internet connection. File exports are manual snapshots. Where iCloud sync is available, it requires an Apple Account signed in to iCloud, a connection, and available iCloud storage. Check the status in Backup & iCloud; an export to iCloud Drive is not automatic game sync.

Daily puzzles and progress

Daily puzzles have Easy, Medium, and Hard levels. The calendar shows the selected level, and older dates remain playable. The monthly goal counts distinct puzzle dates; streaks count the dates you actually finish daily puzzles. Replaying a completed daily puzzle does not replace its first result.

Hints and difficulty

Hints begin with a nudge, then explain a logical step. Asking for a hint counts as assistance, even if you enter the answer yourself. Difficulty follows the techniques needed to solve a puzzle, so solving time varies from person to person.
